Service Truck Cranes

     Our comprehensive CCO Service Truck Crane (STC) training program consists of classroom instruction, hands-on practical training, and preparation for both written and practical exams to ensure safety and compliance. It focuses on crane setup, load chart interpretation, rigging, inspection, and safety regulations. Key components of our comprehensive STC training program include:

• Classroom Instruction: Covers technical knowledge, operator responsibilities, site awareness, crane components, and safety regulations (OSHA 1926.1400).
• Load Chart Analysis: Intense focus on understanding and applying load capacity charts specific to service truck cranes.
• Practical Training (Hands-on): Operators practice crane operation under supervision, including pre-operational inspections, setup, and load handling.
• Rigging and Signaling: Training in proper rigging techniques and standard hand/radio signals.
• Site Safety: Hazard recognition, ground stability, and power line safety.
• Exam Prep and Testing: Rigorous preparation for the CCO Service Truck Crane Operator written and practical exams, which are required to be passed within 12 months of each other. Certification is good for 5 years.
