CCO Certified Rigger Level 2 (RIG-2)

     Our comprehensive CCO Rigger Level 2 Training Program focuses on enabling workers to independently select rigging, inspect gear, and execute complex lifts, covering load weight estimation, center of gravity calculation, and advanced rigging techniques. It includes classroom and hands-on instruction followed by written and practical exams. Certification is good for 5 years.

Key Components of Rigger Level 2 Training:

• Technical Knowledge & Planning: Estimating load weight/center of gravity, identifying lift points, and choosing appropriate rigging gear based on capacity.
• Inspection & Selection: Pre-use inspection of slings, hardware, below-the-hook lifting devices, hoists, and winches.
• Execution: Practical application of advanced rigging techniques, including rigging for level lifts and load rotation.
• Safety Standards: Compliance with OSHA requirements and CCO standards.

Certification Requirements:

• Prerequisite: A current CCO Rigger Level 1 certification is required.
• Written Exam: Focusing on advanced rigging scenarios.
• Practical Exam: Demonstrating proficiency in two tasks: a level lift and a frame rotation.
